  1. Really helpful overview—especially for anyone looking to keep things simple and still get solid rewards. Choosing the right cashback card can make everyday purchases work harder for you.

  2. I got 3 rules.
    1. I don’t pay credit cards they pay me
    2. Less is more
    3. Try to combine cash back or points.

    Current setup

Apple Card 3% Apple subscription, gas Exxon, T-Mobile bill.
Amazon sync 5% on groceries whole food and all other electronic or home needs.
Schwab investor Amex card 1.5% cash back catch all use for all big bills and anything that doesn’t except Apple Pay out and a bout.

Schwab and Apple combine cash back into my Schwab checking account.

  3. Hi, does the pre-qualification on the Citi website always function properly? It seems Citi occasionally disables it. I haven’t been able to establish a bank relationship since Citi declined my application, citing CPI issues. Is having a bank relationship mandatory to get a Citi card? Also, is the pre-approval based on an Experian credit pull? Would I have a better chance of approval if I applied first for the Double Cash card instead of the Citi Custom Cash?
