Just out of curiosity, I Google searched “cheer leading college scholarships” and while they do exist – most scholarships are in the range of $500-$1500 per year. In no way is cheerleading a good plan for getting college paid.
That’s a pretty big contrast to, for eg, football scholarships which are often full ride -including tuition, room and board, books, etc.
I’d rob a bank before I’d look my child in the eye and tell them I didn’t save for their college.
