  1. 13:17 set daily reminders in your calendar for upcoming bills so that know you have a bill coming up. That way you know you can’t spend just yet.

  2. I realized I listen to the same music I’ve been listening to for over 20 years, so why on earth am I paying for a music subscription?! I cancelled my tidal and bought a few music downloads. Found my old iPods and fingers crossed they will hold a charge.

  3. There is a book on Amazon the most basic savings challenge book you save small amounts in order to save 15k put it in high yield savings account

  4. I’m at a point in my life where I’m basically living in poverty, and I do mean that genuinely. The stove here doesn’t work and I have no way to cook other than a microwave and I live with other people and one fridge so everyone is getting takeout and filling the fridge so there’s no room for groceries and when you can’t cook you just eat out all the time. So I did my budget and uh. Last month I paid…. $573.19 on food…. And it all came from savings. I only have savings bc I got in a car wreck and have spine problems that I STILL need medical help with.

I also live in one of the poorest areas of the country, the appalachias.

I need major life changes. I think sometimes people forget that it’s not just about saving on a low income. Sometimes is changing your job or working two jobs or making major life changes like that.
